Cheer on the Padres against the Houston Astros Thursday, July 19 with PRSA! The first pitch is at 5:30 p.m. when Scripps Marketing and Communications Vice President Don Stanziano introduces all-star Sarah Farnsworth, senior vice president of public affairs for the Padres.
Farnsworth will share insight from her diverse experience, key public relations and public affairs strategies and the hot topics she sees in the industry. She previously spent 19 years in Washington D.C., working in government and community relations, event planning and public outreach for the U.S. Defense Department and USO World Headquarters. Now, she oversees communications, community relations and military affairs departments for the Padres.
Following the presentation, we will head to our seats in the Field Pavilion section to watch the Padres take on the Astros (game begins at 7:05 p.m.).
The cost of the event includes the presentation by Farnsworth, game fare (hot dogs, snacks, drinks) and one game ticket. Want to bring a guest? Check out the Double Play package for discounted tickets.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets will be distributed outside of the Park Blvd. Gate from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. (We will meet in the ballpark's auditorium. Detailed instructions will be sent to registrees prior to event.)
Attire: Come dressed in your Padres best ready to root the team to victory!
Early Bird: With registration by July 11
- PRSA SD/IC Members: $39
- Nonmembers: $49
After July 11:
- PRSA SD/IC Members: $49
- Nonmembers: $59
Double Play: Bring a friend, coworker or spouse and enjoy a discount on two tickets!
- PRSA SD/IC Members: $75 (at least one registrant MUST have a PRSA SD/IC chapter membership)
- Nonmembers: $85
For this event, PRSSA and college students with a valid I.D. may sign up at the chapter member rate.
Please note: Payment for this event must be made in advance. If you are not able to register online via credit card, send a registration RSVP via email then mail your check to PRSA SD/IC, P.O. Box 28512, San Diego, CA 92198-0512.
The cancellation deadline is Tuesday, July 17. No refunds granted after July 17.
