Smith-Taylor is president of Taylor PR, Inc. a full-service public relations and strategic marketing consulting firm in Oceanside, CA. With a focus on B to B communications, Taylor PR represents companies primarily in the building industry including its largest client, Eldorado Stone, a stone veneer manufacturer in San Marcos, California.
Services include strategic planning, media relations, trade advertising planning and negotiating, copywriting, special event planning, managing trade show events and much more.
With more than 20 years experience in public relations, Smith-Taylor brings media savvy, industry know-how and creative ideas to the table. Smith-Taylor earned her APR in 1993 and has been active in PRSA for many years. A former chapter secretary and chairperson for several different committees and clusters, she is now involved once more in a new role as an Assembly Delegate after a seven-year hiatus.
Smith-Taylor earned a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and has lived and worked in Washington, Hawaii and California.
